The ATCCQ Mission
• To promote the status of Taiwanese entrepreneurs in Queensland and to identify and develop potential business and investment opportunities in Queensland and Australia.
• To strengthen mutual contacts, co-operations and friendships among Taiwanese entrepreneurs throughout Australia and to exchange business skills, management experiences and intellectual knowledge.
• To provide business and financial information and resources to Queensland Taiwanese entrepreneurs in order to strength economic and trade co-operations between Australia, Taiwan and Oceania countries.
• To work and lobby for the betterment of the status of Taiwanese entrepreneurs in Australia and to enhance the relationship between the officials of Australia and Taiwan.
• To promote social and cultural exchange in order to enhance the mutual understanding and economic developments.
The ATCCQ Biennial Business Awards
Starting from the 14th term (2013-2015), Australian Taiwanese Chamber of Commerce Queensland Incorporated will present Business Awards every two years in the middle of each President’s term.
The Business Awards is an ATCCQ initiative designed to provide recognition and incentive to companies and individuals who strive for excellence in all aspects of international trade between Australia and Taiwan and also to celebrate achievements by businesses that are Taiwanese owned or managed.
The Business Award is supported by the Taipei Economic and Culture Office, Trade and Investment Queensland, TAITRA, Brisbane City Council, Ipswich City Council, Logan City Council, Queensland Government, Queensland University of Technology Business School, Overseas Community Affairs Council Republic of China (Taiwan).
For all the companies that participate to this ATCCQ Business Award, it will be an excellent marketing and branding opportunity. Finalist and winners will enhance their brand awareness and improve goodwill by:
• Award Winners details will be published internationally via the World Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce channel, which consists of 182 Chambers across 70 countries with over 30,000 members.
• Award Winners details will be published on local newspapers and media plus government funded Taiwan newspaper and media.
• Award Winners and Finalist details will be published on the 2013-2015 ATCCQ Year Book
• Award Winners and Finalist details will be published on the 2014 Business Award Booklet
• Award Winners and Finalist Company Logo, Company name, Photos will be shown on the projector at the Gala Dinner.
• Award Winners will be able to get opportunities to promote their business at the Gala Dinner.
• Award Winners will be interviewed and filmed for global broadcast via Taiwan Macroview TV.
• Marketing exposure to all ATCCQ, TCCO, WTCC members via Newsletter, web site, and other distribution channel.
• Finalists will receive a certificate for display at their businesses while Award Winners will be presented with specially designed trophies for lifetime display.
• Finalists and Award Winners whom become members of ATCCQ will have the opportunities to participate at Taiwanese Chambers of Commerce Oceania Annual Conference held in Brisbane July 2015.
• Taiwanese owned Award Winners have the opportunity to be nominated for the prestigious Overseas Taiwanese SMEs Award.

Cost: FREE for 2014-2015 ATCCQ Financial Members ($60 per member partner)

$80 per non-members / $770 per 10 people table
Entrants will be competing in the following categories
• Rising Star Award – For any Queensland businesses that have been established for less than 3 years that has any connection with Taiwan.
• Export Award – for Queensland based businesses that export products or services to Taiwan.
• Import Award – for Queensland based businesses that import products or services from Taiwan.
• Taiwan Brand Award – for Businesses that originated from Taiwan that have established their brands in Australia and especially Queensland.
• Employee Excellence Award – as employees are valuable assets to any businesses, we particularly would like to recognise the contribution of Taiwanese employees in all businesses so we would like to encourage all businesses to put forward heir choice of Taiwanese employees.
• Community Contribution Award – for Businesses and/or Organisations who have contributed back to the public in particularly to the Queensland Taiwanese and Multicultural communities.
• Business Excellence Award – recognise significant business achievements resulting from plans and actions in the commercial sector that have any relation to import/export between Queensland and Taiwan or service the local market that included Taiwanese customers or owned and operated by Taiwanese management.
